What is the differance between formulas????Enfamil gives my daughter Bad gas But the Nestle doesn't. They both have iron and DHA and ARA. They both seem to have just about the same Minerals and Vitamens I only noticed one missing in the Nestle and that is Selenium and that is a very samll amount in the Enfamil.

nestle is made from whey proteins and enfamil is milk proteins which are harder on a newborns tummy, and nestles proteins are broken down further then enfamils.

After all the research on baby formulas, with my first son wasn't an issue, I could ahve fed him anything he was perfectly normal.
The second one however we went through literally every brand there was due to his numerous allergies and health problems and ended up on the ellecare prescription formula.
Anyways, I found out that the dha and ara was causing a lot of gi prblems and allergies in many babies, and were an un nessesary additive. (also those ingrediants were found in dirt) Next, after going through them, we found that the nestlie good start (just the plain stuff no fancy dha ara stuff) had the best reviews, that is what my first son drank... and well he is so healthy its not even funny!
All the different formulas have different ways that the protiens digest in your baby.. just trial and error is how we had to do with the 2nd son

They are the same nutritionally. Nestle Good Start is much easier on baby's tummy, which is why it saves your little pumpkin from gas. No worries, stick with what works for you!

When my son used formula he seemed fine at first but by the time he was 3 weeks old we had to switch him to Soy b/c he wouldn't poop except for once every 3-4 days and his little belly seemed to be killing him. As soon as we switched I swear in like 2 days he was a little pooping machine and a much happier Baby.

You just have to try and see what works with you. I use Similac with iron. It's in a red can. That seems like the most popular. It is for gassiness. Good luck!

Well..if enfamil does not work use the other..I like the target brand too. they are much cheaper and ifyou look at the ingredients it's the same thing...don';t waste your money on name brands.
