THAT IS A GOOD QUESTION!!!! I RATHER NOT GO THROUGH IT AT ALL.....I DONT KNOW ABOUT YOU, BUT I AM REALLY WEAK WHEN IT COMES TO EMOTIONAL SUFFERING, I CANT TAKE THE PAIN OF LOSING SOMETHING THAT I LOVE. I LOST MY FATHER WHEN I WAS 3 YRS OLD, AND I DO MISS HIM A LOT, AND IT WAS REALLY DIFFICULT GROWING UP WITH OUT A FATHER OR A FATHER FIGURE IN MY LIFE, BUT I WOULDNT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO TAKE THE PAIN IF I WOULD HAVE LOST HIM AT 13 YRS OLD RATHER THAN 3 WHEN I DIDNT KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON.

I would rather have something beautiful and then lose it. This way, you have had a wonderful time/experience and you can always hold it close to your heart. If you don't have a chance to go through it at all, you don't ever have the joy of knowing the good things at all. They saying goes "It is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all" I find this true.

I think I'd rather have something beautiful, but the only problem is until you go through that suffering you never actually realise how beautiful it really was! Hows that for screwed up?

Ive lost many friends, and there isn't a moment in time I have ever wished I never would have met them. They might be physically gone now, but the friendship we shared were beautiful and that keeps the memories alive. So no, I wouldn't give up having something beautiful and lose it than not have it at all.

That's a question I've thought about so many times."It's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all".I think in love and all other treasures, YES. It , the loss, is brutal. However the experience of having it is priceless.Even in the loss we've gained a knowledge that will guide us in our yet to come endeavors.

Sometimes I feel like it's better to never know or have something that way you never miss it. Most people say it's better to have experienced it but when it's gone, all you're left with is the hurt. Ignorance really can be bliss.

I used to ask myself that all the time, trust me though, it's best to play it safe. Better safe than sorry, better safe than sorry, better safe than sorry, better safe than sorry, better safe than sorry, better safe than sorry, better safe than sorry, better safe than sorry. - Goes on like that.
