If your body odor is bad, your doctor can prescribe something, but don't mess with the natural smells that your body produces from a clean body. Most vaginal secretions are not offensive, and you are probably theonly one who notices it. Just keep clean and use antiperspirant.

Talk to your doctor about the douching and I'll almost guarantee she'll tell you to stop. Not only is it not necessary (your vagina is self-cleaning) it can be harmful if it upsets the normal balance of your vagina. Every woman has a scent; if it's truly a nasty odor, then you likely have an infection. If not, maybe you need to get used to your normal scent and stop trying to clean something that's already naturally clean.

Are you sure you don't have a yeast infection? The only thing I could recommend use a vinegar and water douche only, nothing floral and buy some cleansing cloth to wipe after you pee. Cut out most of the sugar in your diet, otherwise a bit of an odor is quite normal and drink 8 glasses of water daily.

The WORSE Thing you can do is to douche a LOT! My gyn told me this! To upset the normal environmental bacterial of the vaginal lining is very, VERY bad! That bacteria is NEEDED! STOP doing this, and you WILL notice you will NOT have the odor, and you will feel better about yourself if you let nature have its way with itself! really, there is a natural balance and ask your doctor if you think I am wrong!

if you douche too often you can cause more harm than good. Have you tried letting your self air out? With all that moisture down there that could be where some of the smell comes from.
Try using a powder deodorant instead of douching. That helps keep you dry and cuts down on some of the smell

you may have a yeast infection, talk to your doc. Also, it's not good to douche too often, it rinses away the natural "bacteria" that our bodies need to stay healthy.
You could also try some of the female "sprays" that are over the counter these days. Most are just a deodarant for the personal areas.

Ya my wife had that same prob. You got an undetectable infection get medication for that. and stop douching it takes away the natural good bacteria (probiotics) that fights the bad bacteria. Maybe you could get some probiotics with the rhemus ( i think thats what its called) mix it with vagicil or something like that to give your body back what was washed away.

Douching is really bad for you - it can even be causing your odour problems by introducing bacteria up there. Your vagina cleans itself, it doesn't need to be cleaned that often - soap can also interact with your natural secretions and produce a fishy odour - I never use soap down there, just wash with 1 Tblsp of cider vinegar mixed with a cup of water.

believe it or not, douching with vinegar will help. it somehow neutralizes the odors. if it doesn't help much then there are 100 percent talc free powders that are hypo-allergenic and lightly scented. have you tried this?
