My son is twenty years old we live in North Carlolina and he got parloe in Poughkeepsie New york Who can I talk to about getting in parloe down in north carlonia cause his parloe officer told me that he will have to prove himself to newyork first in the meantime he is basically homeless all of his family is down here we all have home and would love to take him in. I am very afraid for him being there alone Is there any one that I can talk with and will listen to me They did a walk through and o.k. his aunts house but.. her landlord said he can't stay there. He has a little money Wouldn't cost nys money to put in a homeless shelter. He has a home down here How will we get is parole transfered instead of waiting for a year or more

The only real person who would be able to approve that would be his parole officer, your only other option would be to contact the New York State parole board which i believe is in Albany, N.Y. and let them know of your son's situation but than again each state has their own rules, i'm in California but usually California and New York have similar laws.
