I'd probably only call if the numbers were already stored in my phone as in people I know, I would think it's one of those windups otherwise and when you ring you get some stupid joker on the line. If it were a person I know I would call the first 1 first (assuming they are from 2 different numbers) as they had time to simply say call me the other 1 had time to put 3 exclamation marks on the text, cant be much of an emergency if they have time to be artistic!!! It's like saying your mum and your dad are about to get run over by a truck who would you save if you had to choose only 1. No one knows til they are in that very situation.

Id call the 2nd one... cos of the exclamation marks. Only reason is cos when i put exclamation marks i MEAN IT!!
But, then again having said that after i read the first one, i wouldnt read the 2nd until after i had called No 1 back!
It also depends on the sender...i have some friends that would tell me its urgent then talk rubbish to me!
Emotionally - well, what could i do.. i called them both back as soon as i could. As long as it was nothing too serious, then i wouldnt beat myself up about it!

I would answer them chronologically. What one person considers urgent doesn't generally constitute an emergency or they would not have taken the time to text message but would have called 911.

1, this is the one i would see first and would call straight away, the second does seem more urgent though due to the exclamation marks

Depends on who sent them;
Honestly there is a hierarchy to the numbers in my phone; if two txt me those messages the number i would ring would be the person higher in the hierarchy it would have nothing to do with the text [!!!]
This hierarchy is based on a level of who has been there for me in the past and who i would want to be there for if they needed me. [In english, some people are more important to me because they are closer/better friends]

I would pray first. If things are that urgent then I will need to pray.
Secondly, I would make sure I knew who I was calling. And third, I would answer them in the order I recieved them.

The first message. The overuse of exclamation marks in the second would make me suspicious of a sales text.
The first message would make me feel some trepidation.

1) more urgent cos if they have time to put exclamation marks on the second then it wasn't very urgent . it would be one of those omg wots up moments

the 2nd one seems very demanding, with the 3 exclamation marks and all. if it was any of my sisters in south africa all they need to do is say "call home now" to chill my blood...last time my sister did that my blood drained from my whole being and i started shaking (no i'm not a feeble sort of person, in fact, i'm known in my family for having "sang froid" in a crisis. i called home and my best friend had died.
so, in short, it TOTALLY depends on whose telling me one of your messages. if its my husband, i'd probably think, oh ferk, he's lost his fags.

#2 seems more urgent, obviously, because of the extra !!! The first one seems like maybe they have something important to say, the second one seems like they are dying or cut off their hand or something.
