You can't. IBM doesn't make it's own commercial processors. Intel's major competitor is AMD. To compare, just do google searches of AMD vs. Intel. You'll get thousands of opinions.

IBM used to make microprocessor very long time ago. These were not necessarily for PCs though.
The IBM PC (Personal Computer), was the original version and progenitor of the IBM PC compatible hardware platform. It was introduced on August 12, 1981. The original model was designated the IBM 5150. The Processor was an Intel 8088 @ 4.77 MHz. The original idea was to use the 801 ( The 801 was a RISC microprocessor architecture designed by IBM in the 1970s, and used in various roles in IBM until the 1980s. ) in this IBM PC.The 801 was at least an order of magnitude more powerful than the Intel 8088, but IBM decided and signed with Intel for its 8088 chip, this was eventually used in IBM PC to avoid delay in the schedule of the release of the PC.
On October 5, 1992, at the COMDEX computer expo, IBM announced the first Thinkpad laptop computer, the 700c. The computer, which then cost $US4,350, included a 25 MHz Intel 80486SL processor, a 10.4-inch active matrix display, removable 120 MB hard drive, 4 MB RAM (expandable to 16 MB) and a TrackPoint II pointing device.
From the very beginning itself they could never came up to the Intel Processor standards, so in their PCs they used Intel Processors. So I do not think that you will find such a comparison topic anywhere.
