Well i can tell you that i'm 41 now and started at around 38. My gyno says it depends on the woman but usually it starts from age 45 to 50. In my case my hormones were fluctuating from my thyroid which put me into menopause. Have your doctor test your blood and it will tell you where you're at. They can also give you hormone replacement if you want; ( i chose not to). Hope this helps you out!

im 44 and have night sweats for about 2 years..i think the age that symptoms start are according to the age you started your period..if u started early, menopause starts early

Well I'm still young, but I work around older woman and they are around 35-55 yrs old, so I would say the age varies. They always talk about hot flashes and mood swings, I never heard ant different. Look it up on-line or ask a doctor.
