The great thing about public administration is that you can work both in the private and public sector. The public sector (bureaucracy) is looking to recruit strong candidates with a good knowledge of public policy. If you want to work in the private sector, but still use the knowledge you have of PA, you can work for a private public policy research institute or "think tank." Other than that, you are qualified for almost any civil servan job in government. There are actually a lot of jobs you can do with that BA, you just have to look around, the world is your oyster.
Cheers.
