I'd try a Mercedes dealer. They must do it all the time.

From personal experience, the mounting hole spacing is the same in the US and Europe. Some had an adaptor installed on the Euro spec versions to accomodate the typically long, thin tags used in most European countries but if you remove that adaptor, the holes on the body will usually mate up perfectly to a standard US tag.

If it doesn't line up, just drill a couple of holes in the plate at the appropriate location and bolt it on.

Yes, the Mercedes service department has the part number and price for the "fix". There are two versions, one expensive but the correct way, the other less expensive but looks "hokey". Your choice!
