It wont stop you from getting pregnant, although smoking too much "weed" can render a man sterile. Marijuana when it goes through the blood stream will not in its entirity be eliminated from you body. Marijuana has a habit of being stored in fatty tissues for months...and for a man that would be in his testicles...that is the reason a heavy user of marijuana will run the risk of becoming sterile, but it is not a sure indicator that you cant fall pregnant. Everyone is different, while his use of marijuana will make conceiving a lot harder than if he didnt use....it doesnt mean you wont fall pregnant. If you want a baby badly, then tell him to get off the weed because he is not giving conception are real fair go. If you dont want to get pregnant, then use protection.

From my experience, NO. If the worst thing your boyfriend does is smoke pot, then you're fine. If you are considering conceiving, ask him to quit for a little while so you are not around it if you do conceive. They say that smoking marijuana lowers the sperm count, but I have a 4 month old and he did indeed smoke pot when I conceived. Use birth control!! Good luck.

If you want a boyfriend so bad, then I highly recommend following this https://bitly.im/aOlUf Since you've never dated or been kissed before, it's going to be hard to get a boyfriend if you don't know what to do but once you know what to do, you'll be able to get a boyfriend pretty easily and can share your dating stories with your friends and experience those feelings yourself. You'll even be able to attract guys you might feel is out of your league. I suggest going on a bunch of dates before choosing one guy to be your boyfriend. Have fun.

Ok, here's some details. Getting pregnant is going to be harder in the first place. Usually, male partners abuse the same substances that their female counterparts do. In men, marijuana decreases testosterone, sperm count, and potency. Needless to say, not a winning combination for conception. Women who smoke marijuana have increased risk of abnormalities in ovulation and therefore more infertility. This risk is enhanced when the use is within one year before attempting conception. This risk did not change with frequency or length of use. So, that means that even occasional use of small amounts of marijuana can decrease women's fertility.

I have heard that it lowers sperm count but my baby's father smoked weed so it won't necessarily keep you from getting pregnant.
FYI: I have also heard that it can damage to sperm and cause birth defects

Weed has been known to lower sperm count but it doesn't prevent pregnancy.
You sure you want to have child with a guy who smokes weed? Be prepared to take it all on yourself then. He will be no help.
I hope you are on birth control or using condoms if you aren't wanting a baby all by yourself.

Yes, you can get pregnant.
It is unhealthy for the fetus as certain toxins in the "weed" will pass on in his sperm, in to your fertile egg, causing potential birth defects.
There are babies born every year to parents who smoke pot and the babies are just fine. We also have a niece whose mother smoked pot and she is mentally fine but she has several serious birth defects. We have two other nieces who were both born with a birth defect that has led to speech impediments...their father smoked pot. We also had two still born nephew twins...both of their parents smoked pot!
I just don't think it is worth the risk, myself.

It can lower his sperm count, if you are trying for a baby and are around him when he smokes, you can do some serious damage to the fetus. If you are trying to use it as birth control, I would look start looking forward to a new arrival in 9 months.

NO and don't believe anyone who says otherwise. In the 60s, many people smoked pot and many of them got pregnant. I've known couples who both the woman and man smoked pot and they conceived quickly, accidentally! It's a bunch of propaganda!
