My girlfriend and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary yesterday with flowers, dinner, sex, etc. But I want to do something else nice for her. I was thinking of making little notes telling her how much I love her and sticking them in her shoes, pockets, purse, glove compartment, pillow case, etc. That way she could know that I love her and have a little suprise any time, not just on big days like our anniversary.
Would you find that romantic or just dumb? Gay or straight or anti-gay, I just want opinions!

I think that this is a very thoughtful and romantic idea,
My partner and I would celebrate birthdays by bringing the other breakfast in bed, usually with a bouquet of flowers. Kiss and cuddle to follow. How I miss waking to hear her voice saying"Happy birthday love".
Bless you. You are wonderful.

AAAWWW.... I'm a straight girl, btw...
I find that very sweet and romantic! The trick would be to do that all the time, not just special occasions, like you said.
But I agree it's best not to do it too often. Then it would lose something. The surprise factor is a biggie.
My guy once was placed on third shift and we rarely got to see each other... I'd stop by every few days after I'd get off work, and tuck little love notes or leave his favorite snack or magazine in his car. He loved it. It's the little things ya know...

I didn't even know there was a category for gays and lesbians. I'm straight but I think it's a great idea. I used to put notes in my boyfriends lunch bag all the time. I have also put smiley face notes and little treats in my daughters lunch box. She would come home and be so happy because it made her feel special. Once, my bf put notes in my uniform pockets and when I found them it made me feel so special. Do it, you don't even need a special occasion. Good Luck

A FEW little notes here and there are a nice touch but she already knows you love her-you have been together for 2 yrs. and if she doesn't know by now she never will.
I have always found that an unexpected hug, for no apparent reason, shows your heart more then any note.
Congrads!!!! Now work on a life time together.

I would find it romantic and thought full. The fact that you would go through so much trouble just to let me know that you love me and cared. You never know when she'll have a bad day and find one of your notes.
Put don't put it in anything that will stain. If the ink comes of on a nice shirt or something, who knows...
-best wishes

NO!!! I think that is very sweet and romantic. My girlfriend post-it-noted my entire house with love notes and let me tell you what....I loved it! Here's a good site to go to for great ideas, too! www.lovingyou.com They have got tons and tons of romantic ideas you can do. Some really inexpensive and creative ideas too!

i think that is very romantic as long as you do not go overboard always leaving notes!
then you will just be annoying and a little weird.
also, a nice short poem with those notes would be even more romantic.

Very sweet! I do it every couple of months for my girlfriend. We've been together for 8 years and we are constantly finding little ways of letting eachother know how much we love them. Do it.....she'll just love it!

Very romantic! Just don't do it too often or it becomes overkill. A good one that my husband and I do is write on the bathroom mirror with a dry erase marker.
