I am planning to make custard for a 10 month old with her formula since she hates drinking formula. She goes to daycare and i want her to eat this there. The question is can I prepare this in the evening and keep it in the fridge and give her next day around 11 AM?

If the formula alone would keep in the refrigerator for that long, then the custard should be fine as well. I think it's a great idea!

Oh call me lazy but I have never made custard with real egg (sorry!) but using the powdered custard like every week is totally fine!

Just try and use a minimal amount of sugar and follow the same guidelines as you would for ANY food once it has cooled. Slam it in a fridge and insist that the people who are giving your daughter the daycare, do exactly the same and heat it properly if she is going to eat it warm!

The problem is more how will they store it. If they aren't going to keep it in any refrigeration, I would not advice it due to the egg issue.
Did the doctor say that you should give the baby custard as a supplement? Normally, they are advising pedisure, cutting back on the milk and introducing more baby foods such as cereals, meats, veggies and fruits. Eggs and egg products aren't introduced until a year old due to development of allergy issues.

Is she on solid foods yet? I don't know about putting custard in the formula,it may be too thick for her to drink from a bottle.

the custard should stay fine, but you shouldn't give a baby egg until they're atleast one b/c of allergies - maybe you can talk to your doctor about other ways to give her formula since she doesn't like it - only a few more months and you can start the whole milk!

Instead of custard, try baby cereal. This bulks up the milk a bit, better for the indegestion of the baby then cereal.
