Actually I do remember that,,seems like not that long ago,,I know it was about 25 yrs ago, because we still had a milkman deliver to the home we live in now..It was such a great thing to have it delivered since I had 3 kids at the time under the age of 5..It was always needed and I didn't have it easy to go to the store for it... I also remember when the market man would go by and sell things out of his truck,,but that was when I was a kid..You could buy fruits and vegs and even fresh eggs and even bunches of fresh flowers... We still have the Mr. Softy ice cream truck coming around in the summer and it brings back many childhood fun memories when I could eat that stuff and still be skinny..... Thanks for the old memories!

Loss of control over your disease. Blood sugars too high or too low, damage to kidneys, heart, circulatory system, eventual death.
Be smart, stay on your diabetes medications, control your diet, exercise regularly.

Are you freakin' kidding me? Long term, if not death, ....blindness. Kidney failure, dialysis. Loss of limbs, loss of circulation. Coma, DKA (diabetic Keto-acidosis). Loss of all senses. The list goes on and on...oh, and the Emergency doc where I work told me potential infertility.
Short term: skin discoloration/paleness, raccoon eyes, fatigue, nausea. Really, the list goes on and on and on and on....
