It was a sheepdog based upon "Of Mice and Men"'s Lenny and George.

I guess there are some people who actually understood the Steinbeck reference, I'm pretty certain that there have been a few cartoons that have made allusions to the book as well.

Characters mostly said that when they got hit in the head(more than one did) Later it also applied to a big cat, who was based on a character from a novel called "of mice and men" ,who use to say "I would hug him and kiss him and squeeze him and hug him...etc"

I think it might have been this witch character, whose name I do not know. I believe that by George she was referring to a monster by that name.

I don't think it was a character, I think it was a dog, with hair that fell in front of his face that was red, he was a sheep dog, and it was a spoof on "Of Mice and Men". That I know.
