Anti-abortion activists: Instead of patroling abortion clinics clutching Bibles, how many of you care to take in unwanted babies of color and wards of the state?

Just to clarify, I am also against abortion.
I'd simply love to find evidence of children (particularly children of color) finding happy homes.

A lot of people are Prolife because they want to adopt a child and are on wait lists for 10 years. I know many people who are prolife who have adopted children from 3rd world countries or even become foster parents to children who are troubled or who are wards or the state. I remember one wonderful family who adopted 2 little ones from Haiti even though they already had 4 kids. Those kids grew up to be wonderful children and had all the advantages of a good middle class family not to mention being extremely loved. Geese if I had the money I would adopt as many little crack addicted kids, HIV positive and handicapped kids as I could give love and attention to.
Hey if a girl came up to me and actually said that she would not get as abortion if I would adopt her child I would either do so or find a more appropriate family, which wouldn't be hard.
Just to set the record straight, I do not patrol Abortion clinics and I have been their for friends who went through abortions but I think it is terribly wrong. I do however feel for those girls who think they have no choice but to get an abortion and I don't think that screeming murder and sinner at them is helping anything.

Actually am not an activist but I am totally against abortion. I would adopt another child in a heartbeat if the state didn't make it so freakin' hard and painful. This is exactly why there are so many children living in foster care. Even though we are a white family we would take in minority children just as quickly but nobody wants white adopting minority. VERY SAD!!!! We have adopted a little girl with major disabilities. Anyone want to let us adopt your little unwanted angel please feel free to contact us :-).

Many do. If they don;t does that make abortion OK?
If I ask you to take care of my Grandpa because he's "unwanted," and you refuse, can I have him "destroyed?"
There are good arguments for abortion, but this is NOT one of them.

many of them do, if you look at statistics, those that want to adopt are twice as large as those that abort, what we need is leiniante adoption laws.
