I just sucked up a huge huntsman(spider) and does anyone know how long i should leave the vaccum on until it's safe to turn it off?

Turn it off, immediately empty the vacuum into a black plastic bag, tie it up and put it in the bin.

If you leave the vacuum on doing nothing for too long it will overheat and burn out the motor

I hope you have turned it off by now!!!! The spider most likely perished when he was sucked into the impeller. That is the part of the vacuum that actually produces the "sucking".

leave it on until you have finished your work the spider will be in the bag just put your hand in and pick it up and then put it on the floor and SQUASH it with your foot
