Actually, not all women do nag. My mom did and I swore to myself I would never do that, and I haven't. But as an adult, I now recognize why women do it. Often it is learned behavior from their own childhood. And it is usually an indication that she is not happy. Women often don't understand that men don't think like they do, and vice versa. Women are usually good at multi-tasking. They don't know why men aren't the same way. Women are good at it because they have more connective tissue between their brain hemispheres than men do. It's a physiological fact. When men don't juggle as well, or aren't as efficient, women get frustrated and upset. For instance, a woman can get ready for work, throw a load of laundry in the washer or dryer, get breakfast for the family, clean up the kitchen, and get out the door to work on time. And all that time their husband is often getting himself ready and/or sitting at the table or at his computer and is not participating or helping with the children or chores. As a natural course of events, women get tired. And when they are tired, they are cranky.

They want you to step up to the plate and actively participate in all those day to day activities that need to happen to make sure the household runs smoothly.

Here's what you can do to stop the nagging: say to her: "Honey, I really love you and I've watched you get more and more tired with all you do around here. I want you to be happy, and I want to help so you can get more rest. Will you teach me to be as (efficient, good at cleaning, good at sorting laundry, good at child care) as you are so I can take over some of these things? If you'll just be patient with me, I can learn to be more of a partner in these things so we can work as a team." Hug and kiss her while you are saying this. Some women will cry with relief and gratitude because here is the proof they've been waiting for that you are ready and willing to demonstrate how much you love her. Others will be skeptical and cynical.

Don't be daunted gentlemen. Trust me, a rested woman is a much more pleasant, willing participant in bed so you Will be rewarded.

Another alternative? Offer to have your wife quit her job so she isn't so stressed out and tired. She'll have time for the children and household, your children will be happier to have her at home, and you'll come home to the wonderful aroma of a home cooked meal and a much more pleasant and rested woman.

Whichever way you choose, treat her like you cherish her. Be romantic and helpful around the house. It's amazing what a difference it will make in you life. Try it, you'll like it!
