it's not bad to be either one! metrosexuals are straight guys who are meticulous about their appearance, which is a stereotype that gay men have. they're called metro because they usually are fast-paced city dwellers (nyc is full of them), and because it rhymes.

homosexuals are people who are sexually attracted to their own gender.

Homosexuals are men or women attracted to the same sex. Metrosexuals are men who are attracted to the opposite sex. Metrosexuals spend more time getting them selves ready then just a normal heterosexual man. Metros get pedicures, spend time in the bathroom getting ready. They really care what they look like.

a metrosexual is a straight, urban-based man who is extremely comfortable and passionate about pursuing his interests in things like design, architecture, fashion, dining, grooming. The sorts of things that just a few years ago the same man would have been labeled a "sissy" for doing.

A homosexual is a person who has sex with the same sex.

homosexual is when a man likes a man, metrosexual is, in my opinion, when a man, who likes women, is stylish, keeps his fingernails manicured, uses gel or something for hair etc...someone who keeps up his appearance, isn't dirty sloppy or messy. i dont think its bad but i wouldn't want my guy to have more products than i do.

A metro-sexual is a man that cares about how he looks and presents himself to the world. He has to be dressed to the 9's just to go to the store for a loaf of bread. He spends way more time in the bathroom, shower, mirror, (getting ready), than his woman does. most of the time he looks way better than his woman. Most of the metro-sexuals that I know are not feminine, they just dress really well.

Homosexuals are men who are attracted to other men and date other men.

It depends on the situation on weather it's bad for you to be a metro-sexual. How would your girlfriend react to you taking up most of the bathroom time? Taking forever to get ready? Being better looking than her? Dressing better than her? Shopping more than her? It's all about the situation you're in.

All of the above is true, but keep in mind that the stereotype of a flaming gay person acts metro-sexual also, but a heterosexual's sexual orientation is completely irrelevant to his fastidious attention to dress, grooming & hygeine.
