Question

Something else to put on my homework. Needs to be funny. But if you want, you can put some good things about the internet. Ahh, and if you could a few bad pointers about modern technologly, that would be very helpful. Thanks!

hackers, viruses, trojan horses (both modern tech and internet)

Cons of the internet: porn, pop up ads, giving in to the desire of answering people's questions on Yahoo! Answers when I should be doing homework,

plus: personal information exposed on internet databases etc.

You could put that one of the bad things about the Internet is that it stops you using your brain to do your own homework. One of the good things is that others can do it for you. That should make your teacher sit up and listen.

The internet used to be called the 'Information Highway' and that is exactly what it is. I can sit at home in England helping people all over the world with their problems as they can help me with mine.
The downside? - I guess we spend too much time sitting here and are losing our ability to communicate with people on a more social level that is, in the same room and face to face.

well...one thing that is bad is the search sites.
I do not think it is their fault..but...
what I mean is sometimes you can search for something simple, like an animal or recipe. the site will include nasty sites in the search results that have nothing to do with what you are searching for. How do these things get posted?? this is a big irritation I think. good luck !!!

i think,because of modern technology we aren't sensible like in the past.my parents tell me that when they were children,they always was with their mum and dad.but now,no one know others.when i come from my school,i go my room.i don't know what does my brother do or how is mum and dad...nothing!!!
and some good things about internet.first of all,you can find what you want from there.and you can send e-mails or speak on msn with your friends.this is the reason why we don't need to write letter.

lack of sleep since it is very addictive to many people! bad relationships are farther apart on the net. what you see isn't what you get here either. run with it.
