A man sitting on a manhole in the dead of winter trying to stay warm and you just came out of a deli with your lunch in hand and you notice that he is picking a giant scab off his legs and eating it. What kind gesture would you offer??? I ran and thru my sandwich away and after the fact I realize I should have given it to him. Was I wrong for turning my back.

that is just disgusting you should have given it to him!! he is going to eat a scab for goodness sake, he must be starving. i hope you feel very guilty for this

dude..common thats o.k...don't think abt this too much...try to get over it...probably even i wud hav done the same thing if i were to be in ur position...its not that u r not genus, its just that u felt wierd when u found a person eating a scab...my god...thats so nasty...to compensate this, just buy a sandwich if u come acorss some body like him again...i think this wud make u feel better...

I have given fresh food I just bought for me to a homeless person before if I had enough to go back and get more. Throwing it away is doubly sinful.

I would have given him my sandwich. Then, I would have led him (with his consent) to a shelter. But, considering that I'm a girl, I wouldn't have done that. But as you're a guy, I think it would have been appropriate.
