Women who dress this way do so deliberately to attract the attention of men they find hot & sexy. When this type of man looks at her laciviously she enjoys it and feels her appearance is serving it's purpose. Only when a man outside of the woman's preferance ogles her she becomes offended.

If a woman is wearing revealing clothing then, yeah, she is asking for attention.
Now, the reasons why guys get into trouble for this is because they are immature in the way they go about admiring her goods that are on display.
Example:
A woman comes into a room wearing a blouse that leaves little, to no imagination. What do you do? Do you oogle like a dog with your tongue hanging out of mouth as she coolly walks by???? Do you make vulgar comments at her as she walks by you? Do you have the nerve to actually put your hands on her?
Or, do "notice" in a very smooth and nuanced way she looks in the clothing? Do you tell her she looks nice? That you like the way she looks in the blouse?
The reason women get pissed when a guy oogles at their goods when wearing tight/revealing clothing is because there is no appreciation of what she is representing. If she's wearing revealing clothing she is representing herself as an available and sexy (in her mind) person. She wants someone to compliment her, but not be a slobbering fool about it.

The answer to this question can vary. If the girl is barely wearing any clothes, I can see where you are coming from; but if the girl just has on tighter fitting clothes, there is no reason why she can't wear what flatters her figure and expect that guys won't be drueling over her goodies. Sure, go ahead and look guys, but when it gets to the point that your staring with your tongue out of your mouth...that's when it becomes a little over the top!! Girls should be able to wear what makes them feel good, without worrying what pig of a man will come along and make her forget she has a face and a brain!

That is true women should be comfortable wearing tight fitting clothing, but at the same time some men take it to far by making rude comments or trying to touch a female's body part. Looking is okay, but touching without being ask is way out of line.

I think it is a natural think for men to be drawn to sexuality of a women. if she is wearing something tight her body will usually be more sexy then in loser fitting clothing mainly because she is defining her curves more. So yes men do oogle over a women at times because of her clothing but as a women should understand men are going to more attracted to someone wearing these type of things men should also be able to control themselves and not make it uncomfortable for a women because of what she is wearing.

I understand where you are coming from, but being a woman I have to defend the women that do that. They may not be thinking about the stares that they'll get when they are getting dressed. When we dress ourselves, we put a lot of thought into what we wear and we pick our clothes based on out moods. So if that woman is feeling that she is sexy as hell, she's going to wear an outfit that makes her look how she feels. In her mind, all she is thinking about is "Damn girl I've never seen you look like that!" She hasn't given one thought to the men who will be drooling over her.

I think that men should try and contain themselves and be strong enough to get a grip, but I do not agree with those tight fitting clothes either- its advertising whether they want to or not. It does not look "good" to look like a prostitute. You can however look nice in a slightly revealing top for tailored clothing-just don't go to the extreme with it. If it si not something you would wear in front of your grandma then don't go out in public with it on.

I totally agree....if women don't want to draw attention to a particular body part..there are many ways not to...but, if an article of clothing is warn that automatically emphasizes the body part....then, don't complain. All women know how to either dress up or dress down. It it is usually done for attention.

why do you think I wear tight low cut shirts. that is where I want the attention drawn to. And I hate it myself when females complain that someone is staring when wearing something a little more revealing.

Hear hear! A jeweler doesn't put a diamond necklace on display in his shop window and then complain that passers-by are looking at it.
Girls, if you don't want to be oggled, don't dress up the display window. Guys are going to look - we are guys. Evolution has made us what we are - and no amount of "sensitivity training" is going to counteract the fact that the best pair of headlights in the world is the pair we haven't seen yet.
