Do you know that during W.W.11, women could not get nylon stockings (unless they were fortunate enough to have a G.I. boyfriend) So they used to put a `tan`coloured make-up on their legs and then stand up very straight and still, whilst their friend used an eye-brow pencil, to draw a line down each leg to resemble the seams that would have been in a pair of nylon stockings! I am told that it was very effective, especially in the dimly lit ballrooms of the time. I expect those girls would have voted for seams, that's `for sure.

Seamed Stockings, fishnets are so 80's, and quite trashy. It's ideal for Halloween though.

Seamed stockings...I cant stand tights and fishnets can look a bit tarty. I always use suspenders with them as hold ups never stay there and always fall down

Either really. Much prefer stockings and suspenders to tights, although seamed ones do tend to go wonky after a while.

Fishnets, the optical illusion makes your legs look thinner, however they leave an interesting pattern on your knees if you happpen to fall over running for a train!
