Well, there are radicals on both sides, but I think the conservative radicals are more dangerous- they are the ones in power. The Democrats that are running for office are not going to ever be anything except slightly left of center, if that far.

come on now, you know the liberals will say conservatives and the conservatives will say liberals. You need some real independents to answer this one. However, if they say they are independent answering your question... they are lying. lol. I won't answer cause I'll admit I'm biased. Good luck on this one
Hmmmm... notme... I must add after reading some of the answers that if you are also going to believe what you read, you would be misinformed, and I would encourage you to do some research on the issues that the democrats below have brought up. They are just spouting off propaganda, and while I am in no way defending any kind of child molester/pedophile/or predator, you must understand that these cases are simply not ONLY in the republican party. It really is quite amusing that they continue to make this all about the republicans... they are forgetting many of the scandals that democrats have "covered up" as well. and then they say it is different because this was a child. yes, a 16 year old and that is disgusting. It certainly is. and if they watched ANY coverage, they would realize the republican party is ashamed and disgusted by Foley as well!!!! But they would rather ignore that part and just accuse the Republican party of supporting this man and being so "proud of him" and any other bullshit they like to spout. It's absolutely ridiculous and to assume anyone would be okay with what he does is just as stupid. Also does anyone remember the other two women that accused Bill Clinton of rape? Of course not, that was shoved under the mat immediately. Two different circumstances, but still both parties have idiots in them. why can't anyone finally admit that?

Both have become radical in the way that they deal with things. However I think that the 529 groups like moveon.org and other democrat leaning institutions have gone over the deep end on some things.

I think both parties have been radical at times. I am fed up with them because they are not doing what is best for the country because everything they do is political. We as a country are so divided and I think our great Country could fall, not from outside forces but we are becoming rotten from within. Our enemies know this and they are using it to their advantage.

radical is the incorrect word. If you asked who has become more "extreme" then the answer would have to be conservatives.
Ceding the 4th, 5th and 6th Amendments in the war on "terror" is extreme. Chipping away at Habeas Corpus, which has existed for 800 years is beyond extreme. Conservatives, and those who support them, are systematically unravelling our rights, and that is not only extreme, but it is inexcusable.

Lets see Republicans have covered up for a pedophile for perhaps as much as 5 years and allowed same pedophile to chair a House committee on Exploited Children. Just to keep their majority and power. I would have to say permitting child abuse is the most radical. Republicans win!
