Coal is very abundant and cheap but is very high in dangerous emissions when used. Nuclear energy is clean and long lasting but has an extremely high initial cost to build a facility to produce nuclear power and also the risk of a leakage problem and the storage of spent nuclear fuel is a factor that concerns a lot of people not to mention the risk of improper disposal of dangerous radioactive byproducts and the possibility of them falling into the wrong hands.

Definitely the disadvantages of coal electricity is that the resource is limited. Coal comes from old dead organisms that were under the earth's surface for millions of years. And we humans are extracting coal and oils from the ground as fast as possible. So it is a possibilty that we would run out of coal and other oils and it would be a huge problem. Another problem of coal is that it releases carbon dioxide when we burn them. And these carbon dioxide create a huge envrionmental problems such as global warming. Global warming happens when these CO2 s are released to the atmosphere and block the sunlights and heat energy from escaping from earth and those blocked sunlights and heats remain inside the earth and make the earth waramer and warmer and creating problems.

On the other hand nulcear energy carry problems of radiation poroblems. We use radioactive uranium on the process and they are very radioactive and could create a huge problem if released to the environment. The radioactive stuffs cause defect in infants and all types of health and physical problems.
