it sounds cruel but i dont feel 1 bit sorry for those people they have all sorts of organizations that help battered men and women!

Like you said there are many places to turn outside of family or friends....it is a difficult move perhaps but life is full of difficult choices.
Yes it takes courage like some have said...but no one HAS to stay in an abusive relationship and endure abuse.
If you have been abused and do not make an effort to leave, seek help and end the abuse I do not feel sorry for you. Apparently you choose to be abused.

I do. People stay in these relationships because they are afraid to. Sometimes they don't money to move on or they fear for their lives. Some women get threatend if they leave. Its very sad. There is a lot of psychological abuse as well.

I do...
because they don't stick up for themself and do the favor of freeing themselves from such an aweful life but yet again it is pretty hard for some man/woman to leave because they lack self-esteem and feel attach to the other person. theres tons of reasons why they don't leave.

i do, you can never know the entire situation. it is frustrating to watch but you cant judge someone because they cannot leave.
