Couldn't you start with something a little less drastic like microdermabrasion. If you're husband doesn't think you need it, consider why you really want to go through with it

If your husband says you don't need it then You don't need it. Do you get that? Just because everyone else has had a facelift, does that mean you have to have one too. What if everyone jumped off the cliff. Would you jump too? Think about it. Be your own person and not someone your mom and sister want you to be. If your husband said you should have one, then go for it. Otherwise, I would not worry about this issue anymore. Your probably a very beautiful and sexy woman and to your husband maybe those wrinkles make him horny. Have you ever thought about that one? If you get rid of the wringles, you might not get too much sex from him.
Think about everything I just wrote and then make your own decision. I am sorry, I am not trying to be cruel just realistic.
Good Luck, honey and stay as you are. Sometimes those facelifts don't turn out like you want them to.

You should get a face lift only if YOU want one. Not to please anyone else, not your mother, husband -- no one. I'm sure if you decide to get one you will do all the necessary research to find a competent plastic surgeon so I would not worry too much about a "goof up". The question is this -- do you feel you need a face lift? If the answer is yes, go for it. If not, tell your mother and sister to worry about their own faces -- you like yours just the way it is! Good luck to you.

If your marriage would really be over due to a loss of looks, then you are in a bad marriage to begin with. There is nothing wrong with ageing, and it looks attractive when done with confidence. It's just the results of having a life...it's natural. If you really want it, then go ahead...but I have seen a lot of stuff messed up by people who try to fix what isn't broken to begin with...there is a lot that can go wrong with surgery...why chance it?

Why the obsession with cosmetic surgery? Can't you just be content with who you are and except the fact that your groing older? I am sure you look fine. Go to a spa and get a facial... skip the surgery. Look at Joan Rivers... She's discusting. Save your money and take a vacation together.

Get one only if YOU want one - do it for you and no one else. Your husband sounds like a good guy and supportive. Find a reputable cosmetic surgeon if you go ahead. Remember that lifts need to be redone every 10 years or so.

there are other alternatives to face lifts - i would see a dermatologist for less invasive procedures - look at how horrible some of these movie stars look from bad facelifts - there's no going back once the surgeon has screwed up your face.

No. It's not worth it. Natural beauty is way better. Just remember you maty end up looking like Joan Rivers.

Yeah, go ahead and get that face lifted up. Thats what I would do, but you have to make that decision with your husband. He will love you for it. Don't drink and drive.

Only get one if YOU want one. On the rare chance that it went wrong, WHY would your marriage be over? Is it based soley on your looks and not on love?
