Only a fool votes by party rather from knowledge about the candidates. I prefer to meet with the candidates in person before casting my vote.
If we think one party is any better than the other the power brokers and politicians have already won and we the people have lost all hope.

Isn't this unbelievable, but there u have it...it does happen. In our last election a long term MLA (who always had been a Liberal) ran for the Liberal party, was re-elected but his Party did not win the election. So the Party that did win offered him a high profile Cabinet position and he jumped ship. Went over to the enemy for a bribe. The people who live in his riding went nuts, held rallies and got people to sign petitions demanding his resignation. Nothing worked, he sits in his high paying position to this day and while all the fuss was happening he basically thumbed his nose at the very people that elected him. Now that's democracy at its best.

Because they are a politician and as such do not really care about the issues or state of the country. They instead are concerned with making sure they get elected and have some kind of office so that they can steal from the rest of the working people in America. Politicians are all about lining their own pockets and it's rather funny to watch all these people that are so loyal to one party or another....they are all the same...criminals, perverts, drug addicts, alcoholics....that's who really runs our country. It's the people with no moral and scruples that get elected and the average American cannot figure this out....a politician will tell you anything you'de like to hear to get your vote...one day they are for it...the next day against it...whatever it takes.

You can change parties in the middle of the election if you want to. There is no rule about having to stay the same party. Lets face facts, politicians do whatever they think will get them elected.
