Look at conservative bridesmaid or mother of the bride dresses. I like the look of a cream colored dress with a little jacket in a fabulous style and beadwork.

I think it can be any color you want! The old saying is not white, but my second marriage (first wedding, didn't have a wedding the first time around) I wore white, because I wanted a traditional wedding that I had never had. My sister wore a regular length ivory colored dress for her second marriage. Just wear what you want and enjoy!

well for a second wedding, u should wear like a beige or tan dress bc white symbolizes innocence (aka first wedding), also try a simple dress, nothing too extravagent, just make sure u look good, lol...some women actually wear a really nice skirt and jacket type of thing.....its usually a lil more casual that a first wedding. Have you ever seen Freaky Friday with Jamie Lee Curtis? In the end wedding scene, she wears quite a nice dress for her second wedding. If not, try wearing something very nice, but not as glamourous as the first. No viel or long flowy trails.

wear something that reflects your personality. bright colors would be perfectly acceptable for a bride that likes bright colors. as long as you are comfortable in it, and it is classy and fits the theme of the wedding, any color is fine. i think the same goes for your first wedding, as well. non-traditional weddings are SO much more fun!

When it's a second wedding a lot of people to tend to wear more simplistic gowns and often opt for a colour instead of the traditional white. However, it's your wedding, so wear whatever you feel like wearing!

I don't think it matters now-a-days what color your wedding dress is for whatever number of wedding it is. I think that the sybolism of the white dress is not as important as it used to be plus many women are not virgins when they get married for the first time anyway.

This one woman, a widow, whose second wedding I went to wore a dress of a light gold satin. She had the coloring for it, and it was just beautiful.
