Job interviews can be very nerve wrecking. I know! The first thing you want to do is dress comfortable for the interview e.g. don't wear tight fitted pants suits skirts, etc. What I typically do is think of any quesiton they may ask such as: Why should we hire you for this orginization? What are your strengths, weaknesses? What do you know about the company? "Do your research". That will make you a lot more comfortable for the interview. You are basically getting your answers ready before you are interviewed. Those questions can really make you nervous if you don't have any feedback to give the interviewer. Also, there is nothing wrong with pausing for awhile to answer a "hard" question. Interviewers like that because it shows that you have the ability to "think" before acting out on something. Finally, smile during the interview and look the interviewer in the eyes. That shows leadership. It's also been said that wearing the colors: black, navy blue, or gray colors signify leadership. GOOD LUCK!

Be clean. By that I mean, shower, put on deoderant and put on a skirt and a nice blouse. A semi casual dress. Smile and be polite. Don't fiddle around with your fingers and do nervous stuff. Biting your fingernails is an absolute NO! Painting them is a yes. But you shouldn't look like a supermodel. I'd use clear nailpolish. Answer any questions they have for you directly and don't beat around the bush. Remember, whether you're getting an interview at Hot Topic or at the White House, you need to be on your best behavoir and look your nicest. Show your possible future employer that you really want to work for them. I hope you land an awesome job! Good Luck!

Of course I've been nervous for every interview I've ever done - (I've done a lot of them). I try to turn that energy into being alert, w/ good eye contact, good english, honest answers, being polite, being informed as to what the job entails and knowing about the company with whom I'm trying to get a job. Sell yourself, but don't be pushy. Self confidence is the key. Keep in mind that the chemistry may not be right, the interviewer doesn't have to "like" you, they just need to be convinced that you are the best fit for the job...and never, never, never give up.

Be yourself......do not lie on your resume........having interviewed 100's of people for various sales related positions I internally know within the first 5 minutes of the interview whether they will move forward or not......
The key is to listen and not calculate in your head or already figure out what you are going to say during the time the question is being asked............I have actually found it "cute" that people expressed to me that they were nervous, which showed, to me at least, they were genuinely interested in the position and it just wasn't interview # ___________.

Just be yourself (don't put on a front)....use proper English, make eye contact, tell them that you are very interested and that you are qualified to do that kind of work. Don't joke too much they might think you are taking the job as a joke. Just think of it as "oh well there will be another opportunity if i don't get thins one"....but give it your all. I have NEVER been turned down for a job.

Well my experience says
Interviews are a like a showtime , think you are on stage and give your best performance.
Do not try to be extra friendly or extra smart or extra confident , just be yourself and shine those things you are actually good at

90% of the time the person interviewing you will hire you if they think you have something in common, and can get along with you on a personal basis. Find something in their office that is obvious they are interested in... ie: kids, sports, hobbies of some sort... and make conversation about it... your in.... its easy

Being nervous is natural. Just be yourself. Don't show too much cleavage. Wear a long skirt instead of the short and sexy one hanging in your closet. Don't wear the plaid, but dress conservative. Don't drink and drive.
