Sorry to hear that. If it makes you feel any better, a lot of people with degrees from good Universities are also having a hard time finding a job. If you got a good GPA, I suggest you try to go get a masters in a useful field (accounting, management, MBA, organizational psychology, etc) or persue law degree. Personally I have found my 2 bachelors pretty much useless (and they are from a top tier top 20 public University), so I'm going to law school now and will be earning 90 to 120k out of college.

LOL. I am sorry i laughed when i read your message, because i feel the SAME WAY about where i went to college. I went to school at LYCOMING COLLEGE in central Pennsylvania, and it was a waste of the $40,000 i am now paying in loans. I dont even have the degree and certification i wanted because the education department there d***ed me over bigtime, made me come back for a 5th year, and then inform me that i dont have the correct classes for my certification (for teaching). So i spent $40,000 for 5 yrs of college, im currently in an internship that i love but it has nothing to do with what my bachelors degree is in. So if i dont get a job in sports after this internship, im basically screwed because there is no way i can find a job with just a history bachelors degree, which is what i have.
Sorry but your own personal heartache with your horrible college brought up all the hatred for mine as well. Dont we wish we could get this money back? Its rediculous. It seems unfair and hurtful. Hopefully, we can make it in the real world.
*Holds up a flask*...here is to us...lol

Well you are just going to have to suck it up. Everyone has a degree now. I have a BA in IT and a MA in Multimedia. It took me 9 months to get a half way decent job. I went though 8 job interviews, a few phone interviews, countless emails, monster, hotjobs, careerbuilder and much more to get my job. Just keep plugging away and soon you will have some kind of job from your degree. Welcome to the job force...it sux...
