Its a book about a young boy treated as if he were a slave. There are years of abuse and detailed descriptions of what happened and how he felt for the duration of the book. I highly recommend reading The Lost Boy after reading A Child Called It. Its a fairly good sized book with larger font. Its a quick read even for somone who doesnt like to read such as myself.
