Assuming you did download a film, still, I would question where the email came from. Contact your internet provider and ask them what is their policy on such things.

I agree sounds like spam. Check the email address source. You WILL get virus infected downloads to deter you from downloading.

sounds like someone is trying to access your computer. have you got security ie norton, mcafee etc. you can download mcafee site adviser free from c/net.com. this tells you which sites are safe, cautious, or dangerous. if i were u, i would check my security, and get site adviser, then try the site for the film to see if it's safe to download or not.
