i am thinking about buying a Canon L IS100 400 zoom lense and they are far cheaper in the USA than in gb.
Either at the airport in Houstan or in Merida Mexico.
can anybody tell me if there is a good camera shop

You out of luck in Houston, but try this site: They list malls in mexican tourist spots and the hotel can probably give you good info, on where to buy.

Sorry there is no camera shop in any of the Houston Airports. Bush Airport or Hobby.

NOOOOOOOOO , dont buy any film cameras, when they go through the big scanning machine at the airport it will f*** up your pics - most of the time, with a few exceptions
