Hopefully, he would have. It's also useful to ask: If this wasn't an election year, would this news have even come out?
I'm wondering about that, especially since so many people, including ABC's Brian Ross, knew about the emails for quite a while now.

Jerry Studds didnt. If this wasnt an election year, the story wouldnt even come out. The info is 3 years old. It's been held for 3 years and then posted on a George Soros financed website!

The Foley crime, and it IS a crime because of the minority age of the other, is a slight scale UP from the misbehavior Prez Clinton did. It isn't THAT bad. But the COVER UP should justly bring down Hastard. There are HUNDREDS of Repuke crimes that could make the USA into a pile of ashes that are never in the major press. and no rehab would of saved him cuase the dems wont let this go

Interesting that it happen to come out just before the election .I think some people may be behind a plot to gain a seat for democrats in that district .They have known about it for some time .I wonder who put the presure on him .

Yes, I think he would. Whats really scary is that if the press had not got wind of it, his activities would have continued unchecked. Hastert needs to be ran out of office for his role in this.
