get there way before sunrise. I go to see them blow up the balloons. It is actually more interesting.

You are in for a long day. 2 1/2 is too young to be able to keep her attention span for that length of time. She will not remember much of it, if any after it happens. I would wait until she is a little older.

get there really early and try to get around macey's, take a stroller for her, around 7am should do it
