I have this empty feeling. I know it might sound odd, but its like I have an "emotional organ" missing from my body, and I don't know why or where I lost it. Do you feel like that at times? I'm not overly sad, I just feel like there's a piece missing out of my puzzle.

Could be you are searching for the reason of existence, we all come to this port eventually.

I have pondered this many times and although I realize that we are all interlinked and every action causes a reaction as a pebble thrown in water causes ripples on the surface I still feel this sense of ineffectness, or disilusion at times. I try reading a book or listening to music it helps most times but the best remedy is to mingle with people and have intelligent conversations and listening to someone's point of view on a subject you are interested in.

Are you spiritual, if you have pondered your existance maybe this is why. You may need to get reconnected with your spiritual side, this does not necessarily mean religion, just the search for the truth.

You probably need God in your life, and He knows it, and is trying to reach out to you, and you are trying to find some worldly thing to fill the noticed void.

This is more than anyone can give you in this forum--even with a scripture or two included, so I invite you to explore this on your own, through whatever means you see fit. Until you do, you will always deep down feel as if something is missing; even though you may find distractions that temporarily make you feel better. Meanwhile, God will continue reaching out to you...He apparently has some sort of agenda for you.

It sounds like you could use an accomplishment or two to build you up. try something new and practice it until you are good anough to teach it. Then, do that. Teach it to others. Or, you could try volunteering your time and effort to those in need. These are ways to build you up from the inside out, and fulfill you.

I know this will sound cliche, but it's true. Try reaching out to God. Find a Bible and start reading. John 3:16 is a good place to start.
