Peter Pan.....

"All children, except one, grow up"

Northern Lights...

"Lyra and her daemon moved through the darkening Hall, taking care to keep to one side, out of sight of the kitchen"

Dunno about the others though, never ever liked the tripe that is TLOTR!

I don't have my copy of the Lord of the Rings with me at the moment, but it's *something* like:

"When Mr Bilbo Baggins of Bag End announced that he would be celebrating his eleventy-first birthday with a part of especial magnificence, there was great talk throughout the Shire."

Lord of the Rings.
"When Bilbo Baggins of Bag End announced that he would shortly be celebrating his eleventy-first birthday with a party of special magnificence, there was much talk and excitement in Hobbiton."

That's pretty close marcus0356.
