Here's the thing...The toilet got clogged. I took the clogger thing and started clogging, then I heard the bathtub behind me make weird noises. I looked and saw disgusting stuff coming out. I got worried and kept clogging and taking stuff out like hair out of the tub. Al at once there started coming water out of the bathtub drain and up the toilet. I thought it was gonna flood the house, I began to cry and called my dad. I don't know if I should have clogged in the first place. He asked why I cried and I said I was just scared. I feel it might be my fauld. He's coming home right now. I walked into the laundry room and saw the whole floor is covered in water. Should I tell him I used the clogging thing or keep quiet? I feel very bad and sad. Please help me!!!

I'm afraid of electricity or something, don't know whether I should step in the water or not.

You did what was good which you thought.

Actually you reacted in a rather mature fashion. You could have just walked away from the problem without trying to fix it. You should not be worried, You did not cause the pipes to back up, SO don't worry.

As far as being afraid of electricity in the flooded out room... If you even expect there may be any contact with water, and electrical circuitry, STAY AWAY! It would be best to wait till dad gets home, and can turn off the breaker to that particular room to keep anybody from getting jolted while cleaning up.

I think it would be a good idea to tell him you tried to plunge the toilet with the plunger. It may keep him from doing the same thing and causing more of a back-up.

Here is a tried and true home remedy to un clog any toilet. If you have some Dawn brand dish washing liquid soap, put about 10 drops in the toilet bowl. let it sit for a while, and it will work it's way down the drain, and break up whatever is causing the clog. It may take about 20 minutes. You may need to repeat the process for heavy tough clogs.

I hope everything works out for you. It's not so bad, it can all be cleaned up, if there is any "sewage" still in the back-up water, just be sure to completely wash anything it came in contact with, with a Bleach/water wash to kill any germs that may be left behind.

good luck!!!!

NO it isn't your fault. You have a stopped up drain. YOU did the only thing you could have short of calling a plumber and that is exactually what he would have done first.
Yes tell him . He would have done the same thing in using the plunger.
There must have been some outside influence in the line such as pressure which was stronger than the normal flow of toilet or tub water to cause it to back flow out the top of the toilet unless you had left the water running.
Dad may have to call a plumber, rent a snake(long metal flexible rod which goes into the pipe cleaning it out.), or go under the house and cut a line to clean it(messy also).
Or it if you are on a septic line you may have to hav eit drained and the lines cleaned or replaced.

You're definitely going to need a plumber. Sounds like the main drain line is clogged.

Something is way down in the pipes causing the waste to build up. when you plunge it causes the water to come out the other drains. U got trouble.

Its not your fault. There obviously is something in the drain lines that is backing up the system. You can be honest with him, he should know that your plunging the toilet has nothing to do with the line backing up.

I would tell him. It's not your fault S***t happens. Sometimes literally. This same situation happened to me before so don't worry. Your housing plumbing is probably pretty old and needs to be changed or cleaned out with RidX. Just don't worry it's not your fault.
