Okay, my husband has been friends with this girl for years and he's always texting or calling her even at like 4 or 6 am. He's met up with her a few times but have told me it's because of football bets that they've made, well last week he said she left her bets in her mail box for him to pick up and I guess she also included a bracelet for me. So he gave it to me when he got home. Well my concern is I never really met this girl, I just know of her. I don't know what to think, are they guilty of something is that why she bought that for me??? I don't know what to think and I think I maybe reading into this to much, but I cannot get it off my mind and I just wanna see what other people think. Should I give it back? I just don't feel right wearing it.

I wouldnt read so much into it. I would however get to know this girl as well. I have many guys that are JUST FRIENDS and that IM VERY close too and if a girl started giving them crap for being friends with me they would be gone in a heart beat. But we are JUST friends... nothing more. If I had jewelry that I had no need for and never wore, first I would offer it to friends and family but if noone wanted it, I would ask my guy friends if they had someone they would want to give it to. I've done this before with picture frames and small stuff like that... so I can understand this. What you have to be looking out for is this. Has he ever cheated on anyone before, because if the answer to that ONE question is YES... then there is a good chance he will cheat again. Good luck

Tell your husband the way you feel and give the braclet back saying that it is not appropriate at this time as you have never met the girl and only know her through him. However if she would like to start a friendship then you wouldn't be against it and have no problems with all of you being friends. Then hire a detective and have him followed.

They made football bets.Is he a bookie ? Maybe that was all she had to pay off her debt was the bracelet with some money. I would be more worried over the gambling that's on then this girl right now. Check your banking account.

Call her up and thank her for her generosity, or better yet go over and thank her personally. While you are thanking her, observe her body language or listen to her voice on the phone. I guarantee that if something hinky is going on, she won't be able to keep it a total secret. Besides, you really should thank her if she gave you a gift.

Accept the bracelet as a gift, or give it back if it bugs you. My question to you is this. Are you sure there's nothing else going on between your husband and her? Sounds fishy.

The bracelet was a gift for the other woman. He left it in his pocket and didn't know what to do with it when he got home, so he made up that lame azz excuse and gave it to you.

Well the bigger question is, why havn't you met her? Have you asked your husband why he never has her over? And no, don't ware it. I don't trust the motives. And go with your gut, you're not reading into anything....it just looks bad.

To me, it sounds like your husband is dating! Texting, calling, meeting-- doesn't that sound like dating to you? I also think something stinks about the bracelet- totally inappropriate. Did he buy it for her and she not like it, so she said to give it to you?
I also think it's beyond inappropriate for married men to have "girlfriends" their wives have never met. I think I'd call "Cheaters" or get some investigation underway. This smells bad.

They are guilty of something. It's even more obvious since she left the things in the mail box.
