He did after all say 'suffer the little children.....'
Surely he would be shocked at some of the Republican behavior.

Trying to conceal Foley's unacceptable behaviour.

Sending children to Jesus Camps and preparing them to die for Christ etc...

Jesus wouldn't support democracy - heaven is a (benevolant?) dictatorship run by God, but if he did he'd probably support the democrats (cause they're pretty conservative) - but wouldn't support the liberal governments of Europe. The Bible teaches charity and to support your fellow man - not to ignore them and keep your wealth for yourself, as greed is one of the 7 deadly sins, charity one of the 7 virtues. The democrats are sufficiently conservative to support the 'old fashioned values' preached in the Bible, i.e. no gay marriage. However unless he's updated his views then he'd be pretty outdated - the Bible tells slaves to essentially behave themselves and shut up, and for women to do whatever their husbands tell them - hardly compatable with the so-called 'civilized' world.

I think he would do what he did in the Temple ; and, instead do it to the leaders and teachers of the Jesus Camps, what they are doing is hardly short of Hitler Youth Camps.
"Clearing the Temple. (John 2 : 12-22) This gospel account suggests that Jesus' driving out of the money lenders was a pre-meditated action. He went up to the Temple and was appalled at what he found. He then made a whip from cords and drove the merchants from the Temple area"
What does this tell us about Jesus' leadership style. In what situations might we be prepared to adopt a similar approach?
We should clear them out. Then they would scream that their rights were being violated, while they attack the the rights they want to violate!
At the same time they play up to Bush's delusion that he has been appointed by God, who speaks to him!

If Jesus were alive today he would be very disappointed in many things. For example the social programs that create slavery, Children who do not respect their parents, nor do they learn anything in school. He would be aghast at NAMBLA, taking GOD out of everything, putting the 10 commandments away so they cannot be seen. No, he would not be happy at all. You can try to direct this to a particular party, but that just illustrates how closed minded you are, which of course would be another disappointment for Jesus. Do not try to think for Jesus when it is obvious you have no clue as to who he was.

Jesus is alive today. For you to not even get this simple point shows the cluelessness you have regarding the Living Christ.

When Jesus does return, I think the last thing on anyone's mind will be what the political situation in DC is.

"Jesus is coming....look busy!"

No, Jesus stayed out of politics. His goal was to change the hearts of men, not change the laws that govern them. He would be at the bar having a drink and showing others the type of love they should have for others.

I doubt Jesus would register with any political party or any church.

As for the Republicans and Democrats, he'd repeat:
"Why do you notice the splinter in your brother's eye, but do not perceive the wooden beam in your own eye?"

He would definitely be in favor of some "house-cleaning," which I think would involve forcing the resignation of a sexual predator...

I can't see Him happy about so many dead babies...

I think He said He "didn't come to destroy the Law..." which means He did follow the 10 Commandments...

So, you tell me.
