I love the face mask that Shoppers made with oatmeal and cream. It smells good and feels good too!

Here's a recipe to make at home:

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons whole uncooked oats
1 or 2 tablespoons plain yogurt (milk can be substitute)

Blending Procedure:

Combine the oats and 1 tablespoon of the yogurt, squishing the oatmeal flakes up as you stir. The oats will soften and begin to break apart as you stir. (You can use milk for this mask but the texture will not be as creamy and easy to work with as it will if you use yogurt.) The resulting paste should be a creamy consistency. If it's too thick to spread easily across your skin, add a bit more of the yogurt and stir. Mix well to create an even consistency.

Spread Easy Oatmeal Face Mask over your face and neck, avoiding your eyes. Relax (perhaps in a warm bath) for several minutes.

When the mask is dry, rinse gently from skin and pat excess moisture from face. Follow with toner and moisturizer as usual. This product should be used within a few days of making and should be stored in the refrigerator if not used immediately.

Use a dash of cinnamon to offer fruits such as bananas and melons a richer dessert feel without worrying about sugar.

Odds are you're eating too fast. Try holding a conversation while using a meal so you're not necessarily gulping down more than you need to feel full.

Use a vegetable bean dip including hummus instead of ranch dressing or possibly a fatty cream-based dip.

Identify the emotional triggers that lead you to seek unhealthy comfort food. Picture your goal weight the very next time a trigger strikes to help you resist temptation.

Beware of "fat-free" or "zero trans fats" foods as you may be trading fats for huge degrees of sugar or sodium.

I like anything by Neutrogena or Aveeno. They are both gentle on the skin & also smell great!
