Try to keep areas immediately outside the house free of areas where they would like to live. Those boys don't like long journeys!
A liberal spraying of insecticide - one that includes woodlice on it's list of victims. You may need to repeat this a couple of times.
We still get the odd one, every couple of months or so, but they must be woodlice fugitives as they are out on their own in the middle of the floor trying to make a run for somewhere.

CHEMICAL WEAPONS !
Use insect repelent/killer powder liberally around the the entire perimeter of you house. Add extra powder near any floor level venting grills etc. "Vapona" insect powder is excellent and be purchased from sainsburys.

CONSIDER A SURVEY or DIY
You may also want to consider a basic inspection from a wood-preservation company that specialises in woodworm/insect problems as they may be able to identify a particularly suceptibale area of your house. Perhaps you could do your own by looking for any damp areas where timber in your premises has become wet ,as I believe woodlice thrive in such conditions. Also look out for any porus scrap wood e.g. chipboard that may have been discarded under the floor boards or outside but near to your property as this encourages the little blighters!

Good luck.
p.s. if you start itching, then I think you will have to declare war !!

Someone told me they climb up the drains! Makes sense becuse we get loads of them in our kitchen & bathroom but nowhere else (and I'm sure we've got damp elsewhere but no wood-lice!)

I'm going to try keeping the plugs in the sinks to see if that stops them-desperate or what!?
