i just bought an explorer from a dealership other than ford and they could give not me the code to the lock on my door because they did not know it. Before I go and pay 150 dollars to hook my truck up to a diagnostic test to get the code I was told there is a web site to where it will generate all the differnet code possibilities. Does anyone know of some kind of way to do that or the name of a website that will. The person who told me there is a website could not remember the name of it. Please help

The code came with the paperwork that came with your vehical. It's probably in your glove compartment or was attached with your key codes that came with the keys.

You would actually have the patience to go through all the combinations? wow.

My husband went through the same thing because he bought his used. He went to the dealership, and the guy told him to just keep his money because for the most part it is a feature people typically don't use much.

all you need to do is call a local Ford dealership with your VIN number located on your dash board, usually they will tell you the code or make a new key for a nominal fee
