you want to be comfortable, but you do not want to look like a slob. I like to wear a pair of comfy slightly loose yoga-style pants and a tshirt. I always wear a sweater too because you need to layer, you never know if it will be hot or cold. On your feet you want to wear something thats easy to slide on and off, because they will make you take off your shoes and they will check you. Dont wear anything that will set off the alarm like tons of jewelry and big belts. Just keep it simple and comfy, because you want to relax on the trip.

Whatever that is casual. Let's say someone at the airport has to go far away to attend someone's wedding. That person wouldn't want to go to the airport all dressed up. That person would wear jeans and a t-shirt. Also wear shoes that are easy to take off. They are detecting bombs.

Comfortable, smart clothing is best, preferably loose fitting as you will be sitting for a long time. Kim & Co QVC.co.uk or QVC.com USA sell very smart, but easy fitting clothes that don't crease. Air conditioning is not good on planes, so wear a jacket/cardigan you can remove if it gets too hot, and they do turn the heating down on night flights. Shoes are being checked, so make sure they can be removed easily or wear sandels with velcro fastenings to allow you to take them off whilst in the air, and to avoid problems if your feet swell during the flight. Hope you are off somewhere nice!

This is a great question. From the male perspective, I see a lot of women wearing short skirts or low-riding pants. I just don't get it - they so are so impractical for traveling. The short skirt is bound to show a panty shot (especially when sitting). The Low Riding pants are bound to show a whale-tail (thong or panty) from the rear - especially when sitting or bending over (you do a lot of bending in an airport when carrying your carry ons). I'm not complaining though!

I always choose my airport outfit carefully and laugh at anyone in high heels(how will they get down the emergency slide??) or a short skirt and my pet hate are halter neck tops! Not very practical for flying in....
I like to wear layers and normally go for linen, I always take a thick pair of socks for the plane and once I arrive and it's 90 degrees I can peel the layers off......bliss!!

I'd wear something comfy, loose fitting jeans or trousers, a T-shirt and also, take a jumper as it often gets really chilly once the plane has taken off. Wear shoes that are comfy and not smelly as it's nice to be able to slip them off while ur on the plane - nice socks too as people will see them. Wear comfy knickers as the last thing you want is your thong digging up your bum through the flight. - Take an eye mask too incase u fancy a nap on the plane.

I typically wear jeans or some other comfy clothes. And I usually wear flat shoes that just slip off, since I'm going to have to take off my shoes anyway. Oh yeah, I wear thin layers too because I never know if I'm going to be hot or cold on the plane.

Traveling clothes, Some simple outfit that you probably wear day to day. Try a nice T-shirt with Jeans with clean sneakers. You should be comfortable and you don't want to over dress. (you know, unless your going on business, then wear what you'd wear to work.) P.S. Don't forget a light Jacket, never know what the air conditioner will be like.:)

well, my dad works for an airline so I fly using an emplyee travel pass and as such, i have a certain dress code to follow. I wear black pinstripe pants, black sweater, and heels. I don't wear a belt or a jacket because you usually have to take off those at the metal detector. One thing i always follow is to not wear metal

It depends whether you are catching a plane or just meeting someone. Your favourite jeans and best top and jacket wikth heels if you are meeting someone. If you are travelling wear comfortable jeans or dark trousers with stretch in them (in case you spill on them) and a dark top (same reason) and take a pashmina which you can wrap around you if you feel cold and snuggle up to on the plane.
