I have been trying to call the telephone company and found it very frustrating and simply cannot get through. The telephone company-AT&T- has such a confusing system to get to a human being/person, that I was forced to write a letter.

Push 1 for English, push 2 for Espanola, push three for bill payment, etc...Holy Smokes...WHAT NONSENSE...

Do you find calling the telephone number of your telephone frustrating if not impossible...

Usually with those annoying automated answering systems, if you press 0 once or twice in a row it will bring you to customer service where you can speak to a real person. This works with almost all kinds of companies. Also sometimes you have to press * or #. Hope this helps!!!

I don't generally have a problem getting through the automated phone system when one has to push certain buttons. The one that really pisses me off is where you have to choose an option by speaking, and it invariably gets it wrong. It's frustrating, and I usually just keep saying "help" or "customer service" until the automated system sends me to an actual customer service representative.

in case you tell people attempting to sell you issues which you're with TPS, they could desire to give up calling you. If no longer, take the quantity and enterprise call and record them to TPS! have you ever checked you're nonetheless particularly registered with TPS? specially circumstances this is expired and persons do no longer comprehend... it is so undemanding as renewing it. agencies that sell issues have a TPS record and this is rather unusual for them to call. I used to paintings in industry study a pair of years in the past (sorry!) and TPS won't give up those... this is basically stops sales calls. the superb thank you to handle them is pay attention to what the survey is approximately and then clarify with courtesy which you're no longer involved and please do no longer call back. in case you do no longer pay attention to the creation, you will immediately be placed back to the "call back later" record as you do no longer comprehend what you're refusing. finally, whenever you verify in to or connect something, there is ordinarily a field on the backside it is somewhat helpful to to tick in case you do/do no longer desire to pay attention from agencies advertising issues or engaging in study. examine the info intently and determine you verify (or do no longer verify) the field as suitable. i comprehend at our enterprise, we could do random dialing for some surveys so as that they don't have your info... they only made up a quantity and have been given yours! yet listening to the intro and with courtesy refusing could be sufficient to shake them off.

I used to be a Verizon customer and enjoyed their customer service. I never trusted anyone else to provide customer service like Verizon.

I find this especially with large corporations. And especially with services that have virtually no competition (cable, phone, electricity).
