The secretion of adrenaline by the adrenal gland is part of the "fight-or-flight" reaction that we have in response to being frightened. It is a coping physiologic response. Adrenaline is a hormone and a neurotransmitter which has sympathomimetics effect ( imitates the sympathetic nervous system function). It causes quickening of the heart beat, strengthens the force of the heart's contraction, opens up the bronchioles in the lungs, dilates the pupils, and constricts arterioles in the skin and gut while dilating arterioles in leg muscles. It elevates the blood sugar level by increasing hydrolysis of glycogen to glucose in the liver, and at the same time begins the breakdown of lipids in adipocytes. All of these effects are primarily for the purpose of coping with a stressful situation by increasing body energy and boosting vital functions during a "crisis."

Adrenaline is hormone. Like all hormones they are secreted directly into the bloodstream for immediate effect. Adrenaline is giving off by the Adrenal Glands, one situated on each kidney.
It is also called the "FIGHT, FRIGHT and FLIGHT " hormone. Thus it prepares the body for any emergency situation, by increasing the heartbeat, to pump more blood to the muscles. Reduces blood flow to the skin (hence one becomes pale), it redirects this blood to other vital parts of the body.

Adrenaline does not come out of your body it is a hormone and pumps around your body I have typed out how and why underneath. This is how Dr Claire Weekes explains the affects of Adrenaline.

we have two main types of nerves: voluntary nerves, or ones that we use to consciously move our muscles, and involuntary nerves, ones that automatically control our internal organs, intestines and the like. The involuntary nervous system has two sub-systems: the sympathetic and parasympathetic systems. The sympathetic system is in charge of our adrenaline - it kicks in when we are in a 'fight or flight' situation (real or perceived), increasing our heart rate and blood flow, among other things. The parasympathetic nervous system acts in the opposite manner by balancing the adrenaline rush and enabling us to relax. When we're over-stressed, over-tired, over-frazzled, etc. our adrenaline producing nerves tend to over-produce. Indicators include sweaty palms, that sense of nervousness, dry mouth, restlessness, dread, or a number of other not-too-pleasant side-effects.

When in danger/scared, the adrenaline hormone is released, giving you above-average strength. For example, people have been known to lift up cars or other heavy objects in order to save themself or someone else.

adrenaline doesn't come out of your body. it is released. your adrenal glands release it as a resort of energy. for example, if you are scared of somthing, in most circumtances, you will run. to give you the force to run, adrenaline encourages/fuels you.
