When I go to remove it a dialog box pops up that says," This program removes Avg free edition from your computer" And also it says select yes to remove or select no to exit. I'm a little confused about this little box that says :

"Remove user settings" and another little box that says " Including objects in the virus vault"

The first box is already checked automatically. I NEED TO KNOW IF I SHOULD CHECK THE SECOND BOX TOO. I'M AFRAID OF WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF I DO OR DON'T. Like will the viruses it's holding in there release back into my computer or will they disappear. Should I check the box or not???

i like AVG, I truly have used all 3 of those Antispyware classes. yet i have used Avg for my anti-virus, so i figured why no longer get the Antispyware to compare? the in elementary words challenge that's stressful about the AVG Antispyware is that updates are not computerized. So if that's a large challenge i'd bypass with Spybot S&D, that's my runner up

it doesn't hurt to leave the user settings. i uninstalled avg free to download and test the new beta full version. when i installed it, it kept all my old user settings from the free version i had just uninstalled. I can't picture the user settings taking up much space on your hard drive, i would just leave them there in case you ever decide to go back to avg.

If you are removing it and never plan to use it again remove the user settings.

You probably want to remove the vault either way.

When you uninstall it, it will take all its files and folders with it, including the virus vault and anything it contains.
