I bought some new makeup recently which was a bronze colour and experimented with colours. Was really pleased, it looked really nice, and gave me a lovely glow. I'm really pale, so it felt good to look a bit tanned and healthy!! I have really dark hair so went and had some highlights put in and strangely enough seemed to turn more heads!! I can't believe what a difference it's made, am not a very confident person, so it's been a pleasant change to be noticed and get a bit of attention. So yes, Bronzed all the way!!!

I love having a Tan but do not go on sunbeds for obvious reasons. I make the most of having the sun on holidays for two weeks a year. Recently I have started to think about the dreaded C a lot and now use Fake Tan which is Brilliant

Personally I think people look at their best at their natural colour. That's why it's your colour.

The worst thing in the world is a fake tan that is orange or streaky. It really makes you look like you're trying too hard to impress.

I don't wear tan, I don't o on tanning beds, I'm quite pale and I prefer it that way, that's how I was born.

The world is too bent on looking like celebrities who have to look a certain way because they are selling themselves as a product. When you don't have to look a certain way for anybody, and people aren't taking your picture even if you're just nipping to the shops then why bother?

Everyone was born beautiful. It's when you start trying to achieve an unattainable beauty that you become ugly. That goes for tanning, the wrong hair colour, too much make-up, dieting, wearing clothes that don't suit you but are "in".

Why can't people just accept the way they are and that they are beautiful in their own right?

i feel great when i have a tan but only get one when i go on holiday as i'm not really one for sunbathing in this country, i avoid sunbeds like the plague and am just a disaster zone with fake tan!
luckilly my skin is quite olive anyway so i never look pale as such.
tan is nice as long as you dont go too far with it, it needs to look natural - saying that though pale skin can look gorgeous - it somehow looks more pure and flawless than tanned skin.

Pale and interesting looks much nicer but its nice to get a natural not over the top tan in the summer to make you look healthy

I prefer natural (ie not tanned), unless the person's skin is in really bad condition. People do tend to look healthier when they've got a slight tan, although I favour uber-pale Goth complexions.

However, really deep tans just look weird, IMHO. Especially when you get people who've got deep tans on, say, their forearms and faces and nowhere else.

Nowadays I see more people with a fake tan or people bleching themselves; no please not for me all the artificial stuff, I dont think it looks nice. Just tan a bit. For myself I look healthy with a little tan, but I am also very aware of the high risk of skin cancer so I am not bothered to get a tan.

I feel like I look better bronzed. But some women, like Marylin Monroe, have a beautiful milky complexion that I wish I could pull off!
