i heat my entier house with a wood stove

we're in the process of remodeling, so right now we have nada, but we are going to put a wood burning stove in the living room and two space heaters in other rooms.

My parents used a wood burning stove, it was great to warm up by but sometimes it would be too hot and make the living room unbearable, and it was a big mess also, ash and twigs and stuff was always all over the place. Made the heating bill non-existant though.

I have a gas furnace, but if the prices don't quit going up, I will invest in a wood stove.

I heat with wood. A Napoleon 1400PL in the living room. living room opens to kitchen/familyroom/sunroom on one side and the hall to the bedrooms on the other. 52" Ceiling fan in center of room blowing down on medium. Heats 1800Sq Ft No Problem.
