First of all let it be known i'm pregnant with twins, almost 8 weeks now. My question is this...how soon in your pregnancy did you feel a "heavy" feeling below? like your lower abdomen is i mean..heavy! lmao, i know it sounds silly but everything i've read, i shouldnt be experiencing this until about week 10 or better. i understand i'm carrying twins but could it be something else like, consitpation? gas? anyone else experienced the heavy sensation so soon? and it came suddenly, it wasnt gradual at all, LOL! which is another reason i think it could be something else. i know there are no textbook pregnancies so i dont want to read a bunch of lectures, just wanted to know when u felt the heaviness. i'd love to hear from mothers of twins too.

I was constipated early in my pregnancy -- that could be what you're feeling. Luckily your uterus should move up in a few weeks and relieve your bladder and intestines (until the 3rd trimester when everything gets squished!). Congrats, good luck with your twins!

I didn't get that feeling until much later, probably about 6 months or so. The best advice I can give you is to always let your OB know how you are feeling. They are used to getting concerned phone calls or whatever you may classify as "weird" questions. They would rather you ask than sit and worry. You will feel much better in general and may enjoy being pregnant when you have little to worry about. I found it helpful to just make a list of different things that I wanted to discuss with my dr at future appointments. Good luck to you !

Some persons fall in love after a couple of days of realizing every different and it does not make it any much less truly than persons who fall in love after a couple of years. But do not permit a phrase cloud your judgment. Let your movements do the speakme.
